Our product
The Upcycling Forum platform facilitates the mapping and overview of waste materials, such as types, quantities, and locations, thus helping to create upcycling projects and facilitating cross-sector collaboration. It is also possible to upload and sell your own residual materials via the platform.
Upcycling Forum already has 300+ members, including municipalities, companies, pension funds, architects, engineers, demolition businesses, and more who are ready to learn more about waste reduction through upcycling waste projects.
What are we looking for?
The Upcycling Forum platform is a digital platform that makes it easier for the construction, manufacturing, and design industry to create upcycling solutions from waste materials and to simply measure the CO2-reduction effects. The platform gives access to a project tool, a material bank, and a mapping app.
The previously mentioned industries are producing around 8 million tons of waste per year in Denmark and 600 million tons in the EU. Upcycling is a way of thinking, where waste can be turned into valuable solutions, extending the materials’ life-cycle, avoiding the usage of virgin raw materials, and reducing CO2-emission.
